Update: 5 October, 2025
The recent flooding across Nepal caused by continuous heavy rainfall is quite unfortunate, and we are deeply saddened by the lives affected by this.
We want to reassure you that our team is safe and our operations are continuing as planned, with a few tweaks to accommodate the situation. So far, all the hotels and lodges we work with remain fully operational.
Government Announcement:
The Government of Nepal has declared a public holiday on October 5, 2025 to ease pressure on public transport and discourage unnecessary movement on the roads. As a result, public transportation services and government offices will remain closed during these two days. However, private offices and vehicles continue to operate as usual, allowing essential activities and travel to proceed.
Highways and Roads:
Some highways have experienced temporary blockages due to landslides and waterlogging. Authorities are actively clearing routes, and most major highways connecting popular destinations are open. Minor delays may still occur in certain hilly regions, and we continue to monitor these conditions closely.
Airports and Flights:
Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu remains open and operational. While occasional delays may occur due to weather, flights are continuing as scheduled. Domestic airports across key destinations are also functioning, though local weather may cause short-term changes.
We remain in close contact with our partners and local authorities and will provide updates should the situation change. Guest safety and comfort remain our highest priorities, and our team is always on standby to provide any assistance required.
Thank you for your continued trust and understanding.
